    Drafts and reset

Draft JSON files may contain business, customer, and bank details. Store them appropriately. Maximum draft size: 3 MB.

    Document preview

Preview is a content view. The PDF paginates for your chosen paper size, with repeated item headers and page numbers.

    Clear this document?

Unsaved entries and your uploaded logo will be removed. Downloaded drafts remain on your device.

    Replace this document?

Importing replaces your current entries. Download a draft first if you want to keep them. An invalid imported file will leave the current document unchanged.

    Create invoice from quotation

Review the new invoice number and due date. Details will be copied, the quotation number kept as a reference, and the amount paid cleared.

How to make a quotation or invoice

    1. Choose your document type, number, dates, currency, and paper size.
    2. Enter your business and customer details. Add your own logo if needed.
    3. Add items, quantities, and prices. Enter optional discount, tax, payment, and notes.
    4. Check the preview, choose Download PDF followed by Save PDF, or save a JSON draft for later editing.

    How are totals calculated?

Each line amount is rounded half up to two decimal places before summing. Discount is applied to the subtotal; tax applies to the discounted subtotal; additional charges are added after tax. Invoices subtract the amount paid. All supported currencies use two decimal places here.

Example: 2 × 100.00 and 1.5 × 80.00 give a subtotal of 320.00. With a 10% discount, 5% tax, and 10.00 additional charge, the grand total is 312.40. Paying 100.00 leaves 212.40 due. These rates are an arithmetic example, not a tax recommendation.

What is the difference between a quotation and invoice?

A quotation offers prices; an invoice requests payment. Converting a quotation copies its details into an invoice for review. Conversion does not record acceptance or payment.

Are tax and legal rules selected automatically?

No. Enter the appropriate rates and details for your own use. This version supports one document-wide tax on the discounted subtotal. It does not support tax-inclusive pricing, per-item or compound taxes, or taxable additional charges. Document numbers are editable and are not guaranteed globally unique.

Can I return to edit my document?

Download a JSON draft and import it later. Your logo is included. Drafts use a versioned format and are checked before importing. Nothing is saved automatically, so refreshing or closing this page can lose unsaved entries.

    Are my details sent anywhere?

Document creation, logo preparation, PDF generation, and draft import run locally in your browser. No processing API receives your customer or payment details. Opening the website still requires normal requests to deliver its files. Payment instructions are plain text; this tool does not collect payments.

What can I put in the PDF?

Western European text and common punctuation are supported using locally bundled fonts. Unsupported characters are flagged before export. Logos may include other lettering because they are images. Long documents are split into pages with repeated item headers. If Print does not open your browser’s dialog, download the PDF and print it in your PDF viewer.
